Press CenterJohn Melby Appointed President and CEO of APXSanta Clara, CA - September 21st, 2007 - APX, Inc., the leading infrastructure provider for North American environmental and energy markets, is pleased to announce that Mr. John Melby has been appointed President and CEO of APX Inc., succeeding the outgoing CEO and Chairman, Mr. Tom Lewis, who is retiring to spend more time with his family on the east coast. During his six year tenure at APX, Mr. Melby has led the operations, sales, product development, and marketing groups. Prior to joining APX, Mr. Melby was Senior Director of Marketing and Product Development for the California Power Exchange. He has also had a leadership role at the consulting practices of M & R Strategic Services, a political consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. "APX today is in an enviable leadership position in both its power markets and environmental markets businesses. I have been privileged to lead the company to this point over the last four years, and could not be more proud of the organization that we have built," said Mr. Lewis. "I hand over the reins to John and the current management team with full confidence in their continued success," added Mr. Lewis.
