Press CenterIndustry News: Environmental Markets Association Welcomes Bob Shults to The Board Of DirectorsWashington, DC - October 26, 2006 - The Environmental Markets Association (EMA) has appointed Allison Wood of Hunton & Williams and Bob Shults of APX, Inc. to its Board of Directors. Ms. Wood and Mr. Shults will be filling the Director positions previously held by Mr. John Palmisano and Mr. Jeffry Muffat. The EMA is appreciative of their dedication and contributions while serving on the EMA Board of Directors. Ms. Wood’s experience as an Associate with the law firm Hunton & Williams includes environmental and administrative law, with an emphasis on air issues, including global climate change, emissions trading, the establishment and implementation of national ambient air quality standards, and general and transportation conformity. Ms. Wood has been a long standing member of the EMA and has contributed invaluable knowledge at past conferences and in the EMA’s international development. Mr. Shults currently serves as Managing Director for APX, Inc. and is a member of the Executive Management Committee. Mr. Shults has more than two decades of experience in the energy sector in disciplines that include trading, origination, risk management, technology, operations, accounting, regulatory, and business development. In his position with APX, Mr. Shults is responsible for supporting the commercial development of APX’s environmental business practice. As a new EMA member, Mr. Shults will be contributing innovative insights to the 2007 Board. Ms. Wood and Mr. Shults will be officially installed at the EMA’s 10th Annual Fall Conference in Marina del Rey, California on November 6 – 7. About EMA Contact: |
