APX Opens Washington D.C. Office

Santa Clara, CA - June 23, 2008 - APX, Inc., the leading infrastructure provider for environmental and energy markets, today announced that it has opened a Washington, D.C. office as part of its continuing strategy to support the rapidly developing global environmental commodities markets. 

The Washington, D.C. office, the Company’s second on the east coast, will be led by Gary S. Guzy, APX’s General Counsel. Mr. Guzy is one of the country’s preeminent environmental attorneys, having served as the top legal officer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and as Global Practice Leader for Climate Risk and Sustainability at Marsh, a leading global risk management and insurance brokerage firm. 

Mr. Guzy and the Washington, D.C. office will work closely with elected officials, legislative staff, federal agencies, business trade associations, national environmental advocacy organizations, and other key stakeholders as Congress continues to move forward with climate change legislation.
