24/7 Operations Support – The APX Operations Center professionals deliver, in real time, both ISO operations support and counterparty transaction management services. ISO operations support services include clearing counterparty mismatches, dispatching resources, managing outages, and tieline communication. Counterparty transaction management can include bookouts, NERC e-tagging, and transmission reservation services. The Operations Center also acts as an around-the-clock technology help desk, providing full support for APX services.

Flexible Support – The convenience and flexibility of night, weekend, and holiday phone coverage – our services are available to meet your specific needs. All APX services are available for all hours, non-business hours only, or as a backup.

Emergency Back Up Services – APX technology deployment is geographically dispersed and fully redundant, enabling continuing energy operations under nearly all circumstances.

Power Scheduling Services – APX Web-based scheduling technology can handle all ISO scheduling for clients in North American ISOs, which enables market participants to:

  • Prepare, submit, and confirm daily and adjustment schedules/bids
  • Automate the submission of schedules/bids according to ISO timelines
  • Manage market parameters and protocols, market participants, and participants' facilities, as necessary
  • Manage security, user authentication (logins), and connection reliability
  • QSE Services

Settlement Services – APX provides a web-viewable settlement statement that gives clients the ability to quickly understand, warehouse, and navigate through the volumes of data from standard ISO statements.  APX brings together client-supplied data captured by APX systems and ISO statement data to allow clients to view settlement data at the highest granularities.  Clients can access settlement statements 24 hours a day from any computer via a standard browser, utilizing secure login access through the APX website. This service is provided through proprietary APX technology and available ISO sources.

Settlement Estimation – APX can provide preliminary estimates of  ISO charges prior to the production and release of an actual settlement statement from the ISO.

Settlement Validation – APX can provide validation of the accuracy of the ISO charges that appear on an actual settlement statement from the ISO.  APX can recalculate the charges using the ISO settlement statement's supporting files and client-supplied internal data to help ensure that the payment and charge methodology applied by the ISO complies with the algorithms and provisions set forth in the ISO Tariff.

Dispute Resolution Support – APX can provide submission of disputes for APX clients.  This includes researching and data gathering, submitting the dispute by ISO deadlines, monitoring dispute progress and resolving disputes through a methodical approach, interacting with the ISO as an agent and supporting mediation.
