Supporting ERCOT Load Acting as a Resource - APX Scheduling and Settlement Solutions support Texas Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSE) bidding into ERCOT under the “Load acting as a Resource” (LaaR) program. LaaR enables the scheduling of qualified load reductions within an ancillary services market, enabling the demand side of the market to respond better to wholesale price signals and preserve system reliability.

Supporting Demand Management within Energy Efficiency  and Conservation Programs - APX Environmental Registries support NEPOOL and the State of Connecticut’s “Class III” Distributed Resources Portfolio Standard, in which demand response resources receive credits that can be used to satisfy the state’s increasingly demanding tiered targets in energy efficiency and conservation.
