Our Registry Services Clients

APX Environmental Markets is proud of every one of our client relationships. The following list is a sample of organizations and market systems using APX’s industry leading environmental market infrastructure solutions.

  • California Energy Commission

"Using more renewable energy is critical for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in California and the Western region. WREGIS is providing the necessary system to track renewable credits and encourage clean energy generation at lower costs."

    Jackalyne Pfannenstiel, Chairman
    California Energy Commission

  • Climate Action Reserve

    Gary Gero, President
    Climate Action Reserve

  • Gold Standard Foundation

Gold Standard Logo"APX has done a superb job of incorporating standards and processes that ensure the carbon credits in the registry are verified, unique and valid. The registry effectively addresses transparency issues by providing a level playing field and equal access for all market participants and stakeholders."

    Michael Schlup, Director
    Gold Standard Foundation

  • Michigan Public Services Commission

”MIRECS provides the critical means to track credits for Michigan's renewable energy standard, encourages clean energy generation at lower costs and reduces greenhouse gas emissions in Michigan. We chose APX because of its experience and proven track record.“

Orjiakor Isiogu, Chairman of the Michigan Public Service Commission

  • Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System (M-RETS)

"Minnesota continues to be highly supportive of M-RETS as a market-based program that will help us meet our goals as stated in the Renewable Energy Standard. M-RETS also gives utilities greater flexibility in meeting renewable energy requirements while providing greater transparency and assurance to consumers that renewable power is produced and delivered to the regional electric system."

Edward Garvey, Deputy Commissioner of Energy Minnesota Department of Commerce

  • Missouri Public Services Commission

The selection of APX relates to the 2008 Missouri initiative known as "Proposition C" in which voters approved Missouri’s Renewable Energy Standard (RES). The Missouri RES sets portfolio requirements for electric utilities to meet with electricity from renewable energy resources as a portion of the electric utility's retail sales: 2% by 2011; 5% by 2014, 10% by 2018, and 15% by 2021.

  • North Carolina Utilities Commission

”We look forward to transitioning North Carolina’s renewable energy and energy efficiency compliance to NC-RETS. Some of the State’s renewable energy facilities have been producing qualifying energy since 2008. NC-RETS will give those facilities a means to secure renewable energy certificates for that qualifying renewable energy. In addition, North Carolina’s portfolio standard requires every electric power supplier in the State to meet .02% of its customers’ requirements in 2010 with solar power. NC-RETS will help the Commission to verify that every electric power supplier meets that requirement.“

Edward S. Finley, Jr., Chairman of the North Carolina Utilities Commission

  • Public Service Commission of Wisconsin

"We are pleased with the progress Wisconsin utilities have made in meeting the state's renewable energy standards. M-RETS is providing the needed system to track renewable credits and is helping Wisconsin and the Midwest set an example for other states to follow. We look forward to this continued partnership and meeting the nation's renewable energy goals."

    Mark Meyer, Commissioner
    Public Service Commission of Wisconsin

  • The Voluntary Carbon Standard

"The VCS Association is pleased to partner with APX to provide registry services to VCU holders. APX’s extensive track record in creating and managing robust registries helps to establish confidence for all market participants and is critical to the long-term success of the carbon market.”

    David Antonioli, CEO
    VCS Association

  • Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System (WREGIS)

"As the administrator for WREGIS, WECC enables the transparent and verifiable generation of renewable energy certificates and resources in the West. The strong participation from both public and private sectors will ensure continued rapid growth for the WREGIS program."

    Louise McCarren, CEO
    WECC
